By a simple walk around the city, without the knowledge of its history, Verona seems to be an ordinary Italian town. Personally, the only information I had before about the place is that it is the setting of Shakespeare’s very famous play. And having the greatest English writer used Verona in three of his plays; there must be really something special about the place. And in fact there is. Not only is it rich in history and culture, but also recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site because of its urban structure and architecture has awarded it.
