It’s easy to get lost in Venice just by walking; the streets are so narrow and filled with tourists. But it is a wonderful city and considered by some as the most romantic city alongside Paris – probably for those who are in love. Being an old city that was founded on the early 400 AD makes it more wonderful and a place to be. It has been called as the “City of Water”, “City of Masks”, “City of Canals” and “The Floating City” among others. Venice is also famous for casinos because it originated here when the first public casino in the world opened in 1638.
