Caught this in my viewfinder when I was shooting some mosses. I thought it’s just a leftover skin but it suddenly flew. It’s less than five millimeter in size; I think it’s a newly hatched mayfly.
If this insect were two feet long, we’d all be lost in constant wonder of it. However, since it’s so tiny we are fortunate to have you to notice it. What a beautiful bug it is, and what joy to look at its little face.
