Foreign is the feeling when you where out exploring a place for the first time and you almost get lost. And that’s what happened to me during the first day of my trip to Singapore. I took a ride to their MRT; just taking the escalator to the station was already foreign to me – I was startled when I step on it, its way faster than the escalators here in our country, as if everyone is in a hurry. And when the train reached my destination, I took off and found myself lost; I got confused on which escalator to take for my exit. There are lots of exits and entrances for that particular station that I was overwhelmed by the signage and could not find the one that bear my exit. Until finally I found it and felt… there is light at the end of the tunnel.
