This is the same as the one I posted previously (An Orchid)… the same size, from the same garden, but from different driftwood and with different colors. I like the colors of this one better – peach with a dash of purple. And yet still, I don’t know from what orchid family they belong.

Both stunning, but I agree with you, I prefer these colours too
thanks you very much!
I’m such a sucker for macro flower photos…awesome shots!
thanks, i’m glad you think so.
This is quite exquisite. I like the way you have captured it from a lot of different angles too.
thank you!
I believe they are from the dendrobium family of orchids. There are different breeds popping up from commercial breeders. They are cross breeding and also creating new ones. I love the peach with the purple. It looks very feminine. Very nice photos of my favorite flower.
Thanks for the pingback. It is greatly appreciated.
Isadora
the pleasure is mine and thanks for that info, now i have something to start with for searching its’ specific name. super thanks!
Beautiful shot, beautiful colors!
thank you, any!
Ohhh, This is sooo pretty!
I don’t remember seeing this exact orchid in the Phils. My father collected orchids there and they grew off our giant acacia trees in Bagabag. Sometimes one stem of flowers would have 19 flowers on it. SO beautiful. This one you’re growing is truly amazing. I totally love the colours, and you’ve taken awesome close-up photos of it.
THe colours look like a sunset.
Love from Rach.
thank you, rach! this is from my sister’s garden, so i’m not the one who made them bloom. orchids are so hard to grow, most of the orchids my mom left were all now gone.
i’m really happy you enjoyed it!
